From 29th December 2025, I began a journey that I will always cherish.
I was truly honoured to be invited by the Honourable Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh to provide technical expertise in organizing the 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and the 2nd Joint CPA South Asia & CPA Asia Regional Conference in Karachi.
After a 12-year gap, Sindh hosted a conference of this scale—and what a moment it was.
In total, 17 international and national parliaments and legislative assemblies came together, with 100+ international delegates, to engage in meaningful conversations on some of the most critical issues of our time: Climate Change, Fake News & Artificial Intelligence, Gender & Technology, Parliamentary Education, Accountability in Governance
While the conference itself was a great success, the most beautiful part of this one-month journey was the memories we created along the way.
Working side by side with my colleagues from the United Nations, National Assembly, and Provincial Assemblies was an absolute privilege. Their dedication, teamwork, and constant support made even the toughest days manageable. And a special shout-out to our amazing interns—your energy, commitment, and laughter truly lit up long days and even longer nights.
It was a month full of pressure, purpose, late nights, shared laughter, and learning. And yes—how can I forget our daily Foodpanda lunches, where we made it a mission to try everything Karachi had to offer
As I wrap up this chapter and head back to Islamabad, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and curiosity about what comes next.
